Terms of Use

Last updated: October 27, 2026

These terms describe expected use of Gather, a community service for profiles, posts, replies, media, and discussion. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and to respect other members.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate information where requested, keep your sign-in details private, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact Gather if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Content you publish

You retain responsibility for the content you submit. Only post material you created or have permission to share. Do not post another person's private information without a lawful reason, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property, or submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, deceptive, or abusive material.

When you publish content publicly, you understand that other visitors may view, share, or link to it. Do not publish information you intend to keep private.

Prohibited misuse

Do not use Gather to spam, manipulate engagement, distribute malware, evade security controls, scrape the service in ways that disrupt it, or interfere with other users. Do not attempt to access private areas or another person's account.

Moderation and availability

Gather may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect members, comply with law, or address abuse. Features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted service or permanent storage of submitted content.

External links and news sources

Explore News may link to external publishers. Gather does not control external websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Check the source directly for its own terms and reporting.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as Gather changes. Continued use after an update means you have had an opportunity to review the revised terms. For questions or concerns, use our Contact page.
